Strate Brief
Project Definition
This is 7 weeks redesign commercial website project, to enhance the website be more functional and usability, easy and suit to the theme of the product. The client that I randomly pick which is Pallas, a local shoes company. Young and fashionable. They are also selling school shoes, kid’s style, and young style like converse shoes. For my client, I will redesign to layout of the website to make it more suitable to “Young” and “Fashionable”.
Current Site's Analysis & Goals
At 1st I view through the site, I find out that the color and design doesn’t show any young brand feel, I thought it was just selling kid’s shoes or school stuff. The color they use for bg-color is too contrast and sucks. Main page using full flash, navigation bar doesn’t really can see and wrong information. Lack of information and it just show product but after knowing product, end, they doesn’t serve like online check code or order stuff, It makes odd for people. Some information such as “Cool Sport”, it doesn’t really link to the product, I might think that is a wasted page and useless info. For the product page, I will enhance it to make it clearer to let people find their likes, and remove cool spot pages to promotion page, because it will make people more interested with promotion stuff and create a member sign up page to let people get more discount, this might helps to increase their sales.
Client’s Analysis
Not really can search much information from internet about Pallas, but due the research, the understanding about the client are mainly placed in shopping complex and found that they quite major selling school’s shoes. But they also selling young looks shoes like converse shoes, young and fashion look. The good thing is their price is much cheaper than other brand, this is the point that can make them gain more customers, and they should push this advantage to publish their sales.

Mission and Vision Statement
To make customer(s) easy to find their product from online service, somehow promote their own brand. Make themselves more young, suit for young generation, fashion and fresh new look.
Short & Long-term Site Goals
Short– Enhance website more usability and functional to keep people view their update
Long-term – create a good relationship between customers and products, study fashion and what people likes and need.

Beauti commercial website

Hierarchy of information very obvious, grids system, different color in every main buttons, should check it out

simple and nice, clear and like it's grid, but the buttons can be more space in between, it looks like 江鱼子(crowded)
